Challenge
HULT Business School offers business courses with a different, more human centred approach versus it's competitors. They needed a suite of content that matched their unique approach, style and delivery that stood them apart from the competition, to place across Youtube and social channels that stopped people scrolling and started them listening.
Mission
Make a video campaign for Youtube & social with a style as unique as HULT's!
Solution
The video content was at first broken out into 2 main components; the 'Sizzle', a shortform piece of primarily motion graphics that would provide a brief overview of the offering, and the 'Sizzle', a series of under or post graduate films that provided a deeper level of detail as to the schools functions and key points of difference.
Working with HULT's internal team, we refined a script and accompanying illustrated visuals to underpin the key moments of our narrative. We also worked with them to secure footage from their existing brand films to serve as our B-Roll for the piece, planning bespoke shoots for each of the 'Sauce' films to serve as the basis for the filmed content.
Beginning with the sizzle, we animated the piece out, alongside recording the voiceover on-site with the HULT team.

Following this, we shot our narrative elements for the 'Sauce' films. Particular attention was paid to the wardrobe of our interviewees here, working with our hair & makeup and styling teams to ensure that our subjects looked unique and set apart from your 'average' lecturer!
The films were shot on-site at HULT's London campuses with the BOSUN production team. From here, we began post-production, editing & animating the visuals, as well as providing a colour grade in line with HULT's brand assets, and adding sound design to bring our animated elements to life.
I oversaw this project from start to finish, directing and producing the films through my production company BOSUN.
